Perhaps if some of these complaints were addressed instead of ignored as you suggest, more than 300 people would show up for a game. And that would help the team.

..single ply TP has NEVER keep me away....kids sweeping the floor doesn't result in a call for a meeting at the exec's offices...winning games, running towards titles makes those slightly stale pretzels taste pretty damn good. Go Ponies!!

Right you are. Pretty much nailed this one.
I can't wait for the next home game.

So just to be clear, we should wait until we're 9-21 again to wait to address concerns with game presentation or fan convenience? We should just continue delivering a product on-par with a YMCA rec league game in the hopes winning fans over?

Bold plan, let's see how it plays out.

You clearly don't know me. I have been labeled a sunshiner many times on this board.

I love that we are winning. I really want this to mean the corner is turned. I actually like Matt Doherty. But there is no reason to accept mediocrity (or worse) in something that is so easy, so obvious, so cheap to fix just because we are winning right now. Perceptions about our program and how serious it is are affected by our amateurish game presentation. Why does Ornsini allow this to continue? Why can't we have BOTH winning AND a tight, well-run, exciting, game presentation that looks like we know what we are doing? Especially when it doesn't take any money and only little effort to get a clue and fix it.

You know, it's funny that the kids sweeping the floor was brought up. My wife and I had a laugh about that during one of the BB games we attended this year. I think it was the UH game (which I still REALLY wish we would have won). The kids sweeping the floor looked like they were about 3 years old. They had no physical strength, were dwarfed by the sweepers, and sort of meandered around the paint with no real direction. It cracked me up. At one point, the ref was trying to coax one of the kids to sweep up a spot and the poor kid just couldn't get it done. So Papa Dia actually took the sweeper from the kid and handled it.

I will say that the last game I attended (Southern Miss) featured much older and more capable looking sweepers.

Exactly! People have been making the same complaints for years, yet nothing ever changes.

Oh my gosh, yes I do know you and I wasn't commenting on you! If I had to name the two biggest SMU fans in the world, it would be Paul and you. I'll introduce myself next time I see you.

I was actually responding to Hockey Guy's smarty pants comment.

I appreciate the comment about the Southern Miss game ball boys. One of them was my cousin's son. May have to give him the job for the year. By the way, he is 10 years old.

Think they officially changed their name to the Y......but the song remains the same (not a zeppelin ref)
