Predictions on the rest of the schedule

The safe choice is 3-3, but it literally could go any direction between 6-0 and 0-6. None of these games are pushovers, but none of them are out of the question either.

well...there's the 1st road win. Play like that the rest of the way and who knows? These guys can play with anyone in CUSA right now. 20 wins is suddenly within sight

True Dat, we are now 1-0 in our quest for 6-0....could just as easily win the next 5 as lose the next five.

But I feel a bit better now...this team seems to have a purpose and they know what they are doing.

Well, I would think that the goal for this El Paso-Houston swing was to split it. I know. I know. You want to win them all but still.

So let's see, SMU has the following CUSA road wins:
Tulsa
Rice
Houston

Need to split Marshall, UCF in order to earn a .500 conference road record. That would be huge.

Rice is now obviously a "must win" to have a winning season in CUSA play and a decent seed in the CUSA Tourney. I still say 18 regular season wins is an accoplishment. If we could steal one at UCF or Marshall, 20 wins is still within reach for these guys
