Invite 256. In two days, you're down to 64.

Plus, it should greatly reduce the odds of someone winning the bracket pool by picking teams based on either uniform color or mascot.

It's up to UAB to prove him wrong. Drawing Clemson for that play-in game is a really tough draw

Skip Bayless actually liked the UAB pick, he respects CUSA as a league and thinks the regular season champion deserves a bid. He ripped the committee for picking VCU, Penn State, and Michigan State ahead of Colorado. Skip Bayless is a good man in my book. I liked him in Thad's documentary and am not a big Lebron guy anyway.

The fact that Skip Bayless likes the UAB pick is all the evidence needed to show that UAB doesn't belong. That idiot doesn't go to games, and doesn't report on anything. He reads the internet and watches TV and then offers the oddest opinions he can come up with just to be contrarian. The guy has built an entire career off a book written more than 20 years ago about the Cowboys ... a book that was widely panned as literary garbage that didn't let anything close to actual facts get in the way of his sensationalist tripe. He was good in ESPN's documentary, but let's not suddenly view him as any kind of expert. He'll offer opinions on everything from the teams that do and don't get in to the NCAA Tournament to who should win the Vezina Trophy. History has shown he rarely has a clue about any of it. He's a [deleted] Vitale starter kit — a loud mouthpiece with no actual information to offer.

UAB does not belong, they beat 0 teams in the top 50, CU beat 5. It is ludicrous that they or VCU made it over Colorado. Sure, I live in Denver, but CU wasn't even considered on the bubble once they beat K-State for the 3rd time.
Some people simply forget just how bad it was...

To me it is laughable that all these critics dismiss rpi and then revert to wins over rpi top 50. You can't have it both ways. To me, UAB is a deserving inclusion. They proved to be the best of CUSA, had an excellent overall body of work with no bad losses and some solid wins mixed in. Keep in mind that UCF with its tremendous non-conference schedule and record struggled mightily in CUSA and had no significant injuries in league play. That to me as much as anything else demonstrates the strength of our league. As a result I think that the continued knock on UAB is ridiculous. Especially since most of the teams people are outraged about have countless opportunities to prove themselves throughout the season. Those that fail to distinguish themselves have no one to blame but themselves. I do feel for St Mary's though.

Let's be real clear. None of the teams admitted at large deserved a bid. None of them. They did not win their conferences. And the last six or seven probably don't really belong at all, but neither do the teams on the outside looking in. Its kind of like going to the bar right before last call and you have to take someone home. Do you take the gal who weighs 300 lbs with a pretty face? The chick with the smoking bod and a face like Freddie Kruger? The woman who tells you this is first night back from the insane assylum? Or the babe who might be okay, but who hasn't bathed in a month? That's what these choices were.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

UAB at least won the regular season CUSA title and obviously that's what got them in
