I'm curious, I've seen more than a few places that Yow isn't the best AD to work under. Someone with time who feels like it, please educate me on the subject.

She's a slash & burn AD. She guts departments, fires a ridiculous number of folks, and makes it her personal vendetta to interfere in the revenue sports. To say she and Gary Williams were arch enemies would be underselling their hatred. Over the span of almost 20 years, they went to war constantly.

She sells the program out to the press, almost every time she has a gripe, instead of settling things internally. She never goes to bat for her programs w/the league, or individuals/players who need her to have their back. She doesn't help w/admissions, she's hated by big money boosters, as well as the state senate who helped build Comcast. She privately tried to raise money to buyout Gary a few years back, and it blew up in her face. Team rallied around her hate and made the tourney etc.

She put the Terps rivals site on payroll, so she could monitor the content being posted. IF anything was said about her, it was deleted. IF anything was said about Gary, she had department underlings fan the fire virally. Completely toxic situation.

There are tons of specifics, but she's known as a very difficult lady, w/creative accounting, that tears down revenues instead of backing them. Coaches know the score, and can't believe how she treated an alum/coach, that saved the program, after the Bias sanctions, instead of staying at top 10 OSU. He put the AD is the black after years of deficits, but she took credit. He wins a national title, no congrats to players or staff from the AD. She gave the woman's team a larger recruiting budget then the men. It goes on and on
