Great video but the empty seats in the background is pathetic. Don't understand how in a city of 3 million or whatever Dallas area is these days that 5K (.0016% of pop.) can't make it to a college basketball game. Where is the marketing and visibility?

Really like the video. Gets me pumped for Saturday, but watching some of Pop's jams and drives, it gets me even more excited for the strength, size, and skill we have coming in next year.

I agree, starting next year, we really need to get an attendance spike somehow. Maybe IF we run well in the OOC, blah blah blah. As for marketing, they need to attack this virally. Lots of good videos being produced by those close to the program right now. This video is strong, gotta like the Fab 4 video too. I wish someone would compile a mixtape of the '11 kids. That would be strong viewing

you have to give seats away until there is a demand for them; can't underestimate the effect a crowd (or lack thereof) has on the energy of the team or our ability to recruit

I think you have to go a step further and also give away food, or practically give it away. I would institute $1 hot dogs, nachos and cokes. You should still make money at those prices or breakeven. Hell you dont make money on concessions when the stadium is empty anyway. Or I would at least institute a promotion that these items are cheap for students and kids. Let the alums pay $5 for a coke that tastes bad.

Hoop Fan must be the only person in SMU with a marketing degree. Ive asked for 20years...how hard is that to do?? It ONLY makes sense! Id rather have a full house and break even...than an empty house and my price pride.
