go memphisLooking decent so far - too many Aggies at Ozona!!
Re: go memphisas soon as I open this to read, looks like Arizona hit a 3 to go up 68-65.
AA wifi too slow/crowded to watch the free broadcast online
Re: go memphisI still don't like them, but it would have been nice for C-USA if Memphis State won today.
Oh well, SMU will have to carry the torch for the conference! Shake It Off Moody
Re: go memphisThey're going to be damn good next year. They don't lose much, have like 2 ships, and used one on a Top 5 local kid. The Barton's are silly. If CUSA expands, I want a hoop power
Re: go memphisI thought the Tigers played a really good game. You can see why they were 13-2 in games decided by 5 points or less - very composed. Derrick Williams made a great play at the end.
Really good game. And cool that Marv Albert was calling it.
Re: go memphisNothing embarrassing there in that game and they are very young...Postner is a class coach who doesn't complain about anything and just does his job. He had no complaints about the officiating crew afterwords and instead complemented them for a well called game, even though there were some calls that maybe could have gone with Memphis???..... He even said Derick Wililams from Arizona who was going to commit to Memphis out of HS, but instead went to AZ, still was on his list for Player of the Year in the NCAA. Too bad Memphis lost, but watch out the next few years...I look forward to our games because we finally have talent that can keep up with them....and yes I know we beat them, but the talent level difference was so apparent at each game...
Re: go memphisI too thought Memphis represented themselves very well. That is really a very young club built around frosh. Not bad talent despite Cal stripping away an entire recruiting class from them. As with any game, one shot, a one on one free thow or one subjective officiating call and the close game changes.
