SMU to play Oklahoma State at AAC in Doubleheader w/Baylor

It should be finalized and announced soon (schools are finalizing details, TV, etc.), but Baylor will play Mississippi State and SMU will play Oklahoma State on or around December 28th this year in a big Basketball doubleheader. Its good for recruiting for all the schools involved an should attract a lot of curious basketball fans in the DFW area to the AAC.

Now we need to sell it out and see some residual benefit as well.

How about a ticket for $20, or for $45 you get a ticket and general admission season tickets to the games at Moody as well. (just throwing out an idea...we need to make this game count)

Will the players expected to miss the first semester games be eligible or available to play in this game?

not sure, but i would imagine probably not. i think they will have to wait for the beginning of the second semester

Actually I think they just have to wait until the end of the first semester, but I do not know when that is. I would think before Christmas , however.

If our football team plays in the Hawaii Bowl, which I expect will happen unless we win the conference and go to Memphis, I'm afraid our fan base will be split at both events.
