Nicknames??

With the dismal run under Doherty, getting to the a SMU basketball game on TV has been almost impossible (tomorrow's game is on - yea!). Throw in the fact that the DMN barely covers them and it makes it hard to follow the team. Then, I found this site which helps things a bit; however, I am not clear about some of the nicknames: JFrog, Losh that aren't easily matched with a name.

On the positive side, almost all of the SMU football games have been on TV for the past 2 years since they are one of the better CUSA teams.

Jerimiah was a Bullfrog (Three Dog Night song) is the reason for the Jfrog name for Jerimiah S.

digetydog you can also catch some games online if they aren't on TV in your area because of regional scheduling. Also if you come on ponyfans basketball before the game, we get tips on where to tune the game on online. ie, we watched the SEMO game on line as it was televised there in Missouri and someone gave us the link. Either way, no matter what a player wants an SMU player should never use the mascot of our arch rival as a nickname. It drives me nuts when people call him that.
