I don't know. Dickey's a good recruiter but Houston didn't need a solid hire, they needed a "wow" hire. Their butts-in-seats problem in basketball is worse than ours and try as Dickey might, his recruiting success will run out when recruits see that they will be playing in front of 25 humans and a few hundred rats at Hofheinz.

Okay 2 season but still like you said it is time for Doh the perform. I dont know of many coaches that get 6 season to merely obtain mediocrity. #HammerDown

He was coming off an NCAA berth so it wasn't like he was embarrassed with the final result.

True but they got into the NCAAs sort of as a fluke after Mack Rhoads had already decided to get rid of Penders
