At the beginning of the season - I thought we were decent

I for one am shocked that we are next to last in CUSA.

I've watched Coach Doh over coach this team during games for 5 years but thought - finally- this team had the talent to overcome the poor coaching.

Especially in CUSA. I mean really, Tulsa, Marshall, S. Miss - hardly garden spots or recruiting hot beds. Yet they KICK OUR [deleted] year in and year out. I don't mean occasionally but always.

I saw that we beat UTEP for the first time in 15 games.

Really. Dallas Texas. Gets out played by a team from El Paso.

I truly thought that being from Dallas, with Crum, and an education to sell that we could do better than Tulsa, Marshall, UREP, S. miss.

I saw us get drilled by Rice - largely because our game plan involved not attempting an offensive rebound.

I'm truly shocked. I really am.

This year was as bad a coaching eff up, as I've seen in quite sometime. We had the talent/players to be far better than what we ever showed. Disgusting display. Off w/his head!

Last year Doherty constantly preached that the, "team on the bench always outpeforms and beats our starting five in practice." First of all, great way to motivate last year's starters, secondly, if this year's starters were so talented, could we safely say your coaching was a little suspect or did you misjudge or overstate the talent of the squad? Hmmmm.

Phil Bennet used to rave about how players were "tearing it up" on the scout team as well.........
