Looks like they've targeted Ohio's John Groce. Talks are heating up. Groce led Ohio to the Sweet 16.

I am really kind of surprised that some of these coaches haven't been on our radar. Martin at K ST. wasn't making that much and he goes to USC. and then Groce is in talks with Illi.

I'm of the school that thinks you should believe in what you invest in. Only at universities is it, hand me wads of money, and I'll hire whomever I want, you have no say. I pay for a search, I approve of the hire, or its not going down.

Funny that Lisa Love, AD of ASU is leaving and the gossip is that it's been "months in the making." Also, we can still say our search isn't nearly as ugly (publicly) as Illinois' is. When Steve-O wants to fly in Bruce Weber and David Miller yanks the charter over it, well, then we're in trouble lol.
