wouldn't SMU be that place?

not at all. SMU is pretty stacked next year, and as good as Keith is, he's not head & shoulders above any of the guards on our roster. He's not even definitively better than Sterling Brown who is committed

You follow this a lot more closely than I do, so don't want to challenge you. However, if Frazier shoots as well from the outside as he appears to in the film I have seen, he will play a very significant role. We have no shooters. Take our current starting 5 plus NicMoore, Yannnik and Kennedy. We still need shooters and Frazier can bring that, not sure if Brown has the same skillset there.

What are your thoughts on that take?

i am with Icon on this one. Good as our guard play could be, we need a scorer on the roster for next year. I can definately see him coming off the bench next year and starting the following - he should be good for 12-15 a game.

That's kind of the point, isn't it? He may not want to come off the bench.

Its a good take and could play out that way, but its no given. Larry Brown watches both ends. Obviously Frazier is an elite shooter, but as of now, he plays disinterested a lot, which means no D. That's not to say he can't guard, just that he doesn't. He's clearly an elite shooter, but Brown is a tenacious defender etc. There is basically no way a frosh Frazier or Brown starts over Russell or Moore.

Nic Moore is a very good shooter. Nick Russell has a great mid range game. Crandall Head can defend 3 positions, Ryan Manuel is an incumbent double digit scorer that guards, not to mention Brown. Frazier is supremely talented, but there are tons of questions about work ethic, hangers-on, and character flaws, for the right or wrong. In tight rotations, I've just seen it too many times, the kid who d's up, has the leg up.

In terms of shooters, we'll be ok when Nic/Blaise come available, and Jalen isnt locked on the blocks. Cannen will be better when used as a stretch 4 too

Nic Moore is your scorer. In the MVC Tourney and NIT as a frosh, he averaged 20 plus. Impact PG
