Any updates on Tubby Smith and Tech?

On a side note, Fraizer has a kid. Being closer to him may help us out?

From ESPN Indsider

"I just want to be 100 percent sure," he said. "I only want to make this decision once. It is between SMU, Texas Tech and Texas A&M."

SMU head coach Larry Brown has a made an extremely positive impression on Frazier, and the Mustangs have reportedly been in the lead for a number of weeks. But Texas Tech interim coach Chris Walker and Texas A&M coach Billy Kennedy have recently met with the McDonald's All American and reportedly closed the gap. Another factor is that Frazier might be waiting to see if the Texas Tech administration removes the interim tag from Walker, which could immediately improve the Red Raiders chances.

Frazier appears to want to stay in the state of Texas and be involved in helping to raise his son, who is just less than a year old. However, other high-level programs have been calling to gauge his interest. Frazier is one of only five uncommitted prospects left in the ESPN 100.

Ultimately, Frazier didn't want to make a decision that he would have to change later because he still had doubts, so he chose to delay his announcement.

"I am going to wait until at least after the McDonald's game," Frazier said, referring to the All American game that will take place April 3."
