Why Big 12 on Cowboys Stadium court?

While watching the Sweet 16 games from Dallas last night, I noticed the Big 12 logo on the court. In the Indy bracket the Horizon League logo was on the court. Usually the "home" school logo is on the court; like the Roadrunners when the Tourney is hosted at the Alamodome.

Who gets to make this decision and why Big 12 and not CUSA (SMU) or WAC (UTA)? The WAC would make more sense because the game is hosted in Arlington. How does the Big 12 get to claim North Texas?

Schools or conferences can be the host of an event. In this case, the Big 12 Conference is the host. That's why their logo is on the court.

The Big 12 is based in Dallas and provided staff to host the event.
