I was following SMU-related Wikipedia pages across the internet, and they were lacking and usually not flattering. I imagine some recruits check out our wiki pages... I spent time correcting/updating/improving the athletics pages intro, but honestly, as a young alum, I do not know nearly as much as most of y'all about our team. Seeing as the school's marketing team isn't going to put someone on the task of updating our 'wikipedia presence,' it could help our athletic pursuits to highlight SMU's accomplishments and showcase our storied program. With activity dying down on the threads, many of y'all seem desperate for some SMU-based entertainment. If interested, take a look.
For starters, there is:
Mustangs Athletics -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SMU_Mustangs -- which said we are still in Conference USA, and its intro statement about our accomplishments was losing the CUSA Championship.
Larry Brown -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_Brown_(basketball) -- Larry Brown's page mentions him joining SMU in the intro, and has two sentences about him later. It's overall a bit weak though, and just calls 2012-13 a "disappointing season."
SMU Football -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SMU_Mustan ... ppearances -- I didn't really read the football page; it looked like the most thorough page, but Iassume highlights are missing.
SMU Basketball -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SMU_Mustan ... basketball -- The basketball page has nothing
Happy Memorial Day, all
