Remember the name Yanick Moreira. JUCO transfer will have an immediate impact for SMU. Should start up front next to Markus Kennedy.

Re: Moreira and Kennedy could make a tough front courtIt is going to be great to see talented, true bigs on the floor for us. Cannen did a nice job playing out of position last season but this year everyone should be able to play their natural position. It's going to be fun to watch this all come together.
SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four
2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs
Re: Moreira and Kennedy could make a tough front courtand Cannen with 2 years experience will add some depth when these guys need a rest. Not a bad 3 man rotation. Is the incoming Frosh a banger or a 6'8" guy who prefers playing on the perimeter?
Re: Moreira and Kennedy could make a tough front courtBen Moore is a combo forward, probably more at home facing. Don't count Cannen out as a starter
Re: Moreira and Kennedy could make a tough front courtCannen was a 4* also
Go Ponies!!
Beat whoever it is we are playing!! @PonyGrad
Re: Moreira and Kennedy could make a tough front courtI think Cannen could provide valuable depth on the front line.

Re: Moreira and Kennedy could make a tough front courtWere going to have some serious D to compliment our explosive guards. I can't wait to see this team
Re: Moreira and Kennedy could make a tough front courti also think Cannen is going to fight pretty hard to start. I think he is a more natural 4 in Larry Browns world anyway.
who starts when we start conference play will be fascinating .
Re: Moreira and Kennedy could make a tough front courtCannen made great strides between his FR and SO seasons. If he continues to get stronger, he will be able to play either the 4 or 5 and I think we have a really nice 3 man rotation of bigs. When was the last time we could say that?
