Gary Flowers did make the trip to College Station this weekend with the Mustangs. He is expected to get an unofficial tour of campus along with Derrick Roland, D'walyn Roberts, and Brockeith Pane. They are all expected to be at Coach Billy Clyde Gillispie's camp that begins Monday night.

In other news, Michael Crabtree is with the Mustangs this weekend at College Station. So, there is the first one to break from Team Texas. Donald Sloan did not make the trip.

In first round games at College Station, the Mustangs 17's with Flowers and Roland beat the Centex Shooters by about 30 or 35. The Mustangs 1`6's with Roberts, Pane, and Crabtree beat the Stallions by about 25. Mustangs 17's had several big dunks by Terrell's 6-8 Tre Parker. This is the first event in a long time that Parker has traveled with the Mustangs.

Gary might be just caught up in the moment, but apparantly he was very adamant today about telling some folks that he was going to sign with A&M in the Fall.

Can Gary attend the A&M camp? I was thinking that people that just finished their senior year were not able to attend those type of camps.

Flowers apparently did commit to A&M this weekend. However, he is headed for a year of prep school first, so if he can make his grades, he might get an offer from a better school and wind up somewhere else.
