Honestly, who would he start over next year? Would he really start over Yanick or Markus (unless we play him at the 3)? I guess so since neither play at the same time anyway. But I'm sure that has something to do with it (I hope). He wants to be one and done. Hard to be one and done if he doesn't start.
What do you think, hoopmanx?
Not Hoopmanx, but easily would start over either. He'd be a significant upgrade, he's ready for the league right now. I'm interested to see what Hoopmanx says, I've only seen him once in person but dear gawd that kid can flat out play. Great size, great footwork, nice jumper. He's a one and done player.

Interesting to note that the one reporter on 247 Sports who picked SMU covers UK. Think the Wildcats experience with Mudiay gave him an enhanced appreciation for SMU recruiting?

Thanks for the heads up Man! I am an '85 RLT grad, and some of my best memories were packing into that gym in the mid to late 70's. We had a bunch of tall white kids in the late 70's that could dunk their arses off. The crowds were deafening. kinda doubt its like that at RLT anymore. But I will be there to see Myles Turner.
Beat the hell out of anybody!

The Mob should organize groups to attend his games and wear SMU gear and chant "SMU". Even if it's just 10 guys. I don't think that would be any kind of recruiting violation. Any of you current students think this is feasible?

He's a one and done kid, but he's not going to dominate college hoops from day 1. It's very likely he wouldn't start, or if he does, isn't the impact player people are making him out to be. Again that has nothing to do w his nba stock, just a reflection of this program and how the godfather runs it. Being real, a McD AA in Frazier is still getting lessons while another grittier frosh, sterling brown, gets the start.
All that said, smu was never completely out of it for turner. Punchers chance
