Rutgers got into the B10 because it's 45 minutes from NYC, 1 hour from Philly, 1 1/2 hours from Atlantic City. I see B10 opponent alumni making a field trip to the NYC area.

I don't think brown will ever schedule vs the college branch of his coaching tree. That includes uk, ku, Maryland, possibly Colorado, Nova etc. I think this years schedule was legit, could have used one more big neutral site game.

Big time programs only go on the road, if they play in crap conferences. The AAC loses a ton in Louisville, but I expect the rise of other programs. We need a good temple, not this years version, and uconn w/a front court. I have some hope for tulsas young talent moving forward, have yet to gauge how good manning is. If smu is a top 15 program, the conference grabbed its new Louisville last expansion. Play ark, NCSU, tcu, etc. I want to play Oregon or some pac12 team, maybe a unlv/sdsu/new Mexico type, and play in a preseason tourney.

I keep hearing rumors of Kansas st and Indiana eventually making their way on. No idea if valid

I agree with the comment about road games, but Krzyzewski does have a history of occasionally scheduling an away game in a Duke senior's hometown. So everyone should hope Duke freshman Matt Jones (DeSoto, TX) stays healthy and does well and then maybe we'll see Duke-SMU at AAC in three years. (And it will be AAC if anything, just as the Kyle Singler game at Oregon a few years ago was at the Rose Garden and not in Eugene.)

Got to remember that we can be an RPI boost for teams that visit. That should offset some of the fear of losing.
