Speaking of uni's...why in the world don't the kids have their names on their jersey's? I know LB says its a team game and not about individuals, but its so important to the athletes to have some degree of accomplishment having thier names out there. Plus it would be so much easier to follow who's in the game sometimes for fans that don't go as often. In basketaball I don't know of another team that doesn't have the player's names on the back of the jersey's. Yeah i know Penn State, etc. in football.

I've always been split on this. I think a lot of players enjoy having their name on a jersey (in addition to your reasons above), but I do like the "team over individual" mindset.

That said, I don't know anything about this, but it may be budgetary. A lot of uniform discussions end up there...

They've just got to have names on the back like it or not, it just makes us look small time without them. I definitely think a blue alternate in the same general design format would look good, but I also think they could continue to get creative with them.
