ugh.. funny how we experience a little success and get all cocky. we need to be bigger than this and not try to find these meaningless stats that label us superior to other teams/cities. take a page out of LB's book

Look at it this way folks, we haven't won anything...yet.

We need to win a National Championship before we go all out in cockiness. In the meantime, enjoy and let's beat Rutgers tonight!

I'll take Miami, LA, Indiana, and maybe even Houston over Dallas in terms of their teams. We've won 3 games that matter. There is still plenty of work to do. We are now being recognized but haven't done anything yet.

San Antonio Spurs: 38-15
University of The Incarnate Word Cardinals: 18-5

Ok...so UIW might be D2. Maybe a little Spurs bias? Preparing to be torn apart by Mavs fans...

Plus San Antonio has that "ugly, muddy-watered thing."

I wouldn't take Miami (Heat and Canes), Indiana (Pacers and Bulldogs) nor Houston (Rockets and Coogs) over Dallas (Mavs and Mustangs).

If you are changing the parameter to be "all about championships" and history then LA wins hands down with the Lakers and UCLA. If you are talking about who is better right now, today, its still OKC. Can't have the argument both ways. Our program hasn't done anything, we won three big games and are currently the big story. We lose one of these two games this weekend and we are back out of the polls and the story will change to the next hot team. We gotta continue taking care of business. Like LB said after the last game, we need to get to a point where rushing the court isn't even a thought for our fan base.

True. I did argue both sides and deserved to be called out for that. I was pumped up after my Mavs won a slugfest against the NBA's best team. Plus, I'm still trying to handle the fact that our school is good at basketball. It's my sports dream. My bad on the thread. It probably wasn't the best idea.

Haha, I think we've all gone overboard at times over the last couple of weeks since our team that we have been waiting desperately to be good is finally playing good basketball. All that matters is that the team doesn't do the same and lose games we're supposed to win. Luckily, I think LB will make sure that doesn't happen.
