Was surprising to see Frazier get barely any playing time. Guess Manuel was the right decision for tonight, I won't question LB.

We were not great defensively tonight.

I blame some of that on the way the game was called. It was impossible to know what was a foul and what wasn't.

Yeah, you could see our guys lose a lot of their aggressiveness after we started getting called for some ticky tack stuff. But I think Rutgers shot close to 45-50% tonight.

Rutgers shot 41%-not that great at home. SMU is obviously not as strong defensively with Kennedy sitting 16 minutes in the first half and 23 minutes during the game. Fact is they were hitting in the 30s for most of the game until their guard hit some shots late. It was much more rebounding and foul trouble to the guys Larry relies upon inside for defense including also Shawn Williams. Considering who was on the Court I don't think defense was that bad. second shots were. They had a 11-8 advantage on the offensive boards-which is even more uncharacteristic for this team. Interesting stat:

Starters-Minutes played-
Kennedy/Williams 17/17
Cunningham/B.Moore 25/20

and we still beat the line-still w/o Moreria -that's an impressive outcome-most teams would struggle relying on their 4th and 5th big men on their roster. Deep bench

I loved Shawn's off the rim, off the top of the backboard FT make. That's the way to get it done.
