Player interviews

Postby Mustangsabu » Sat Feb 15, 2014 2:08 pm

Watching this weeks crop of player interviews has been very interesting. They are a confident bunch of players and eager to learn but the sense of family is really great to see. This is a special bunch. And Markus is very funny.

Having these opportunities to see the inside of the program is something that we should be very thankful for.

They're all linked up on the home page (or see threads at top of basketball page)

The coaches do a good job of sharing responsibility for interviews among players. I think I have seen all of the top 11 at one time or another. They are a great public face for the university -- smart, engaged, committed.

Nope — from practice before the Mustangs left for Rutgers/Temple trip.

They give great insight into the mood inside the locker room and the characters we have representing us.

Most of our players have good communication skills and a sense of humor. They are
dedicated and love Larry Brown. That is another reason for recruits to want to be here -
because Larry Brown is an extraordinary coach and a warm human being.

The players have good vocabularies and they directly answer questions that are asked of
them. They are great representatives of our university.
