Nic was definitely fatigued at the end of the game; he was trying, but the energy just wasn't there.

I think the energy was there but he committed some fouls and missed some free throws. Shawn Williams and Ben Moore missed free throws down the stretch as well.

I understand what you are saying, but I was sitting behind the SMU bench. I watched him throughout the game. At the end of the game, I could see a difference. Not saying he wasn't giving his all, he was.

When Nic is off the floor, it goes from a good team to a very pedestrian team real quick. Could argue a bad team. The team relies on him for too much. Nobody else can dribble the damn thing and he's by far the best scoring option from anywhere outside 5 feet. He's the best facilitator and the only player that can handle a press. Manuel is garbage at the point and so is Russell. They just can't handle the ball, plain and simple. Call a spade a spade.

Yes he seemed tired and "off" yesterday. No, we don't really have anyone who can step in and even approximate what he does for our offense. Yes, we suffer greatly when he sits....it's really our Achilles Heel right now. And yes....next year we should have a solution. But for now we need Nic to stay out of foul trouble. The ball stops when he sits.
