I've been to both. I really don't see any comparison. SMU is a better school with hotter women, better academics, in a better city, with a better campus. That isn't to say Miami (OH) is a dump. That's just saying it can get in line with about 95% of the schools in the country that are in the same boat behind SMU.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Might or might not come to SMU. Nobody knows.

Only takes 1 post to say that (and same for all other recruits). So, we were entertaining ourselves. (it's either that or work, so I chose the more interesting one). :-)

Smu has the architecture (assuming you like Georgian as I do), but it is flat as is the rest of Dallas. Accent colors count for a lot though, and the eye candy at SMU is diabetic-unfriendly.

Ohio University is a beautiful campus. Good looking girls too as a whole I would say, they party extremely hard. Miami and OU got a rift going between the two.

Ojai-I do root for Miami of course, but we're only good in hockey and even the hockey team is extremely down this year. I will always root for my Alma Mater but I grew up a big Ohio State fan. My brother played there, so that's why I've always been a fan of tOSU. As for SMU, Coach Brown man, I like that guy a lot. And as I've interacted with the board, I've become more of an SMU fan in general as opposed to just a Coach Brown fan. I'd like to see SMU do well in all sports including football but I always will be happy to see Brown succeed and the basketball team going deep in the tourney or getting ranked, whatever it may be.

Yeah, Sig Chi, Phi Delt, and Beta are all alphas at Miami or started there, considered the Triad. Phi Tau is another started at Miami, then Delta Zeta (DZ) was started at Miami on the sorority side. Greek life is a big part of Miami's culture.

Stallion, I don't believe you ever been to Miami, no offense. SMU culture is very similar. Very wealthy individuals, polo and J Crew all over the place, Sperry's, daddy's money all over the place, ect. I don't think it's a stretch at all to compare the two.

Most of you fine posters are lost. You should be posting your various comments on
"Around the Hilltop" Would have been more interested to hear your comments about
D J Hogg on the basketball or Recruiting threads. But that's just me.

What is there to say about Hogg that hasn't been exhausted already? Moved onto a new topic. There's no new information to report since the other night when everyone spilled everything they knew...

Agree with this. Beautiful campus, nice (but very small) town, good academics, similar culture to SMU although not quite as monied (but there are very few places that are as monied as SMU).

Oxford is nice but very small and agricultural. Seems like they had some statues of pigs in the downtown square. But the town has basically everything a college student would need - just not very many entertainment options.
