Jermaine Beal, a 6-foot-3 senior combo guard at DeSoto High (Texas), told Scout.com that he has set up an official visit to Oklahoma for Sept. 3 and will also head to Vanderbilt on Sept. 17.
``I like Oklahoma because it's close, it fits my style of play and I can get a lot of exposure," Beal said. "Vanderbilt would allow me to get away, play in the SEC and play against teams like Kentucky. It also gives me a great chance to start and make a big impact right away."

Beal also mentioned Illinois, Oklahoma State and SMU as schools he might take official visits

New article in Rivals looks like we are out of the running for Beal:

"I like Vanderbilt, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Baylor," said Beal. "Right now my top two are Vanderbilt and Oklahoma."

On September 17 Beal will visit his other leader Vanderbilt. There is a very good chance that these will be the only two visits he takes although Beal has not completely shut the door on the possibility of more visits.
