The selection committee members will definitely run their own metrics, I know for instance when Orsini was ont he committee, he told me some of the things he weighted really heavily were rebounding, good guard play, and defensive metrics (if I am remembering correctly)

Point being, these guys have their own ways of making decisions, and individual members of the committee are assigned to take the lead on certain conferences and teams
