Crowd impact

15-1 at home, 3 wins vs RPI top 30

8-8 away from home, 1 win vs RPI top 100

That shows the impact of the Moody crowd.

So if we suddenly, inexplicably have a good football season this fall and the crowds pour in - do we call it Ford Frenzy?

Obviously our guys are fragile and have difficulty playing with energy themselves. Comes down to leadership on the team. We need a leader. They don't seem to respond to what LB preaches lately. He said it every interview, "this is like a Game 7 of the NBA Finals". Our guys didn't play that way.

We seemed to play best against bigger crowds, whether on the road or Moody Magic. Uconn, Cincy, Lou, Mem, played decent against all on the road. UCF, USF, Hou, Temple, Rutgers - lost or barely won. Chorpus - didn't play too great, squeaked by a terrible A&M team. Should have beaten UVA

Don't blame the crowd vs UVA please, that stings. The three of us were quite vocal.

Hold on. I see a trend here. What is smu's record in road games you attended compared to road games you did not attend? I know you were in corpus (1-1), Louisville (loss) and Memphis twice (0-2). Any others?

If not, that is 1-4 in games outside of DFW that you attended and 6-4 in games outside of DFW that you did not attend. Big discrepancy.

Clearly our problem is that you are too loyal of a fan.

I think it would, I like the way you think. Smusic, you need to stay away from our NCAA tourney games until we make the final four. Sorry, it is math.

Clearly I am a distraction for the team. The numbers don't lie.

Maybe if I shave the beard before the NCAAs.
