The game started out scary, but ended up being one of the most fun games I've been to at SMU. I wish they weren't able to drain so many 3's near the end to almost tie it, but I'll take a win.
HOW ABOUT JON KILLEN WITH THAT DUNK!!!
From high on the hilltop, in Big D...

Terrible first half and fantastic second. Tubbs makes these guy play hard. Unbelieveable defensive effort the second half. Chris Reay off the bench had a career game.

Third-largest comeback in SMU history.
Glad I was there to see it!

For us trivia buffs, what were the other two?

I think we came from 20 down to win at Kent State a few years back. Had a big comeback at home against San Diego in recent years too. Not sure if those are the ones.
Simply a hellava win. Two starters out with injury, little depth to begin with.

What a game. I felt like I almost passed out from screaming so much. I've never felt so crappy and then have a 100% turn out to completely going wild.
Goodness. Awesome!

46 pt 2nd half. ...not bad.
Really miss Roberts and Simpson. Isham had a season high I believe? Maybe the CW article woke him up a bit.

We were totally flat in the first half...looked like they were just going through the motions. Then Jimmy had a little discussion with them at the half and they came out a new team. Eric was in there the whole 40 minutes and Devon was in for 39. They really got serious on defense and broke La Tech's back...Jimmy Tubbs KNOWS defense wins games and tonight was a perfect example.
GREAT GAME MUSTANGS!!!! This was fun tonight!

Not sure. I think I just read the AP article before anyone else. Someone with a media guide could help out. XtC?

Again, this team is a reflection of the coach...and that's a good thing.
3 in a row. If we get Roberts and Simpson back this team could make some noise in the WAC tournament. Ya never know.

Hey, hats off to Reay, huh? Here's a guy who's been collecting serious bench time, and he got in there and busted his tail tonight. VERY well done. There's a guy who should have the admiration of all of us -- he certainly has mine.
