we've basically had to rely on 5 guys to play most of the minutes tonite. Would be a good win w/o Roberts and obviously a MUST win to help keep this season from completely slipping away

Yep, had both video and sound tonight...imagine that! : - ) They spanned the crowd a few times towards the end and from what I could tell, looked like a pretty good crowd. Lot of Greeks in attendance.

Why was Roberts out? I didnt tune into the broadcast before/after.

Man, we play so tight it's crazy. The kids seem to be thinking too much and not letting a flow get going. Is that Doherty?

Pearson did some things to get us back when we were down 10 or so.

I'll take our 1st conference W!

Crowd was....ok....not where I would like it, but not as bad as I would have expected given our losing streaks of late. I wish we could get the greeks to come in red and blue, I don't care if their shirt says pike, or "homo" but it would great if it was in red or blue instead of maroon. It looks horrible when they are taking up a huge section of the student section right behind the home bench and not wearing ANYTHING with SMU on it.

Student section was PACKED, as it should be. A bunch a pikes, which is fine with me because they make noise.

I didn't get to go because of we were celebrating my dad's birthday. From the box score, it is good to see Dez got 30 minutes. He looked like he could contribute in the UTEP game, and maybe that carried over from Sat. I like how Coach Doherty rewards players for impreovement. I am also happy we limited our turnovers. We all know that is a big rpoblem with this team. Coach Doherty's emphasis on making more free throws than the other team was the the difference in this game.

I think my Dad should be glad he came over for dinner. I saved him the agony of watching the ags lose a close one to tech. My dad is die hard a and m fan. He won't be so happy when he gets home.
