Texas played terrible but was able to cut the lead to 11. Hope they come out strong in the 2nd half or this will be a long game and a disappointing end to the season.

Well, Memphis is longer and Rose's size is giving Augustine problems and the self-inflicted turnovers are a combination of them not getting set and Memphis' overall size.

The first 5 minutes of the second half will determine if they can rally or finish the season.

When you get to the Elite 8, you're pretty good. Fans just get more greedy because they're this close to the Final Four. I hope they can get it done, but they are going to play very well.

They got a little bump from Johnson.

As Memphis is cruising to its first Final Four since 1985, the 8-year-old keeping it real saying,

"It's not like this is a shock. Memphis has been awesome this year.''

Have a chance for all four No. 1 seeds to get to the Final Four. Texas just needs that size in the block for coming years.

I liked the finish - Memphis took the clock down and then did not even attempt a shot - just passed the ball back to Texas before the shot clock went off. You could look at that as rubbing it in...I thought it was good sportsmanship.

Go Memphis. Hope they can win it all...unless Davidson can shock the world!

Great season, bad ending. Oh well, it was fun.

Good luck to Smoo and Texas next year. Hopefully Doh can get the ship righted and put together a fully competitive team next season.

You know, LF68, you're amazingly tolerable for a UT fan.

As a rule, I tend to dislike your rust-brown bretheren, but you come across as a rather likeable and level-headed guy. Thanks for ruining my blanket philosophy of disliking all things UT.
