I am not sure that his job needed saving yet!!! But this is a huge win! Gets us back to .500 and keeps the momentum going! If we had beaten UAB we could arguably be the best team in CUSA. How crazy is that?

That is complete indictment of the current state of CUSA hoops.

Great job today Harry. Keep up the good work. The Red Out looked great on All Access.

Its amazing what happens when you play 5 on 5 on the offensive end instead of 4 on 5 (harp) and you don't have Mo Faye jacking up 3's and getting trapped along the baseline playing 30 minutes a game, isnt it?

awesome win, the only negative for me today was that the PA. I know jinxes arent real, but come on, dont say anything about how long its been since we've beaten memphis until the game is actually over! That coupled with the fact that anytime rodney clinkscales comes in as a defensive substitute in between free throws he has to say " now entering the game, number 0, Rooooodnnneeeeeyyyy cliinkscaaaaaaaaaaales" lol

Should have kept that "Don't storm the court" announcement until about 6 seconds left, too.

Total amateur hour on that "don't rush the court" announcement. Why can't we get an AVERAGE game presentation? What was with the 2 mins of dead silence while the refs looked at the replay? The band or some kind of music should be playing...

Not sure about Basketball but they make that announcement to cover their [deleted]. CUSA has often fined teams for having inadequate security to prevent fans from rushing the field. I know its ridiculous but they have fined several teams

stallion, the problem was they did it with a ton of time still on the clock and the game still in doubt. really bush league. by the way what is cusa stated criteria for when you have to make a foolish announcement like that? anytime you are playing memphis? I dont ever remember hearing anything like that before. Not only that, it was more like a wink, wink, rush the floor if we win kids.

I looked for you at 1st and Ten, Harry.....good job with the students as they were great. The announcements were waaaaaay to early and were a little bush. The 50 year announcement was just plain weird...its not like we play them every year like a TCU.

How about our sweet cheerleaders and band waiting patiently letting the Memphis crowd do their chant with about 6 minutes to play. Hey Band and Cheerleaders, drown that crap out!!!!!!!

Agree, the PA dude is a doofus.........Memphis calls a timeout after we hit a big shot, the place is hopping, and he comes on and directs everyone to look at the scores on the jumbotron.........

Awesome win, though.............

it was a nice, nice win. How bout the students chanting Pa-pa Di-a? Greatness. really happy for Papa, he played sensational. Same with Dwill, glad he could post a win for his mom being in the house. Lets be honest though, Memphis is an average club this year. They are a doughnut. No offensive or defensive prescence in the post. They will lose several more conference games, book it. Still it is clearly a great win for us and hopefully a big confidence boost. what about that free throw shooting??? when was the last time anybody saw smu shoot 87% from the line on 38 attempts in a legit pressure packed game? wow, what a sight for sore eyes.
