In case you didn't know, I could care less about non-issue sanctions, and only care about more basketball. I don't think anything official comes out till Sunday night

If we play in the CIT or anything else, I think it can only be considered a good thing. Some may mock these little tournaments, but getting invited still has to beat not getting invited. My problem is that my hopes are up now, and I had fully accepted waiting until November for more hoops.

I'm searching this on the internet and appears SMU has to pay CIT about $30,000 to get into this tournament. Other schools turn it down. Really don't see why so many are spinning this as an accomplishment. Itâ€™s a tournament for chumps.
DOH has never won a conference tournament game. Can't believe any recruit would be remotely impressed that SMU paid to get into this tournament.

CUSA tourney winner UTEP (most likely) -- March Madness
Tulsa / So. Miss / Marshall / ECU? / Memphis -- NIT or CIT?

not an accomplishment, Just a reason for us who care to watch another game and the seniors to play another game. They exceeded my expectations. This team doesn't deserve anything but I will attend. They blew the last 4 straight, they were in every game. weak sauce
