easily a sellout

1. 5 days to sell this game
2. excitement is building again
3. Big name school is more of a draw for SMU fans
4. LSU will bring a big crowd

EDIT: Not that we need LSU to bring a crowd. I think we can easily exceed tonight, and I would guess tonight was 5500-6200 att.

I don't think so. It's still the NIT and the NCAA tournament will give some people basketball fatigue after this weekend (although not the more dedicated SMU fans).

I also don't think most LSU fans are big on basketball (at least the ones I know); especially the NIT.

I'd very sincerely love to be wrong though.

That said, I think the crowd will be pretty solid and very loud. I was very happy with tonight's crowd.

Very easily a sellout. There will be a strong secondary market for this game.

You might be right. They might be more football fans at this point than basketball fans.

I'd be pretty shocked if this didn't sell out.

there are easily 1,000 LSU fans in town that will come pay 10 bucks to watch their team play SMU and Larry Brown. We will bring at least 6k. I think it will sell out easily.

Be prepared. LSU fans know how to liquor up all day for night games. At least in football they do. Need to be sure and show up early for prime seating.

That is the truth. I went to a football game at B.R. once. They start early and don't stop....and they spew hate at a very high level.

plus, given that a lot of hillbillies don't have jobs, they'll be prepping for a night game all day.

Hillbillies?

There's not a hill within 200 miles of Baton Rouge. These will be Dallas-based LSU fans who will cheer loudly for their team. Buy all you can!
