Keith Frazier's Best Game?

Postby SMU Smitty » Mon Mar 24, 2014 10:52 pm

His best game all season IMO. Obviously he made some big 3s, but also didn't make any bad defensive plays, was poised with the ball on offense, made some great passes and only took one ill advised shot. Good to see progress from him.

I would agree, he has shown the flashes all year...but tonight he had his best assists and best shots of the season.

Lineup is going to be real crowded next year, I hope he can get on the floor, but it may be tough.
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

Yeah, but it was a really bad ill-advised shot... :)

Every time he hits a three I think he's just about to go off. You could tell he had more confidence tonight and I don't remember him every being way out of position on defense either.

Definitely a nice solid game for him tonight.

he also made that beautiful no-look pass to Kennedy who flushed it in first half. Hit the boards too

Without a doubt. He is always making spectacular alley-oops and almost couldn't miss from deep.

Frazier also had a chance to finish an alley oop but the pass was off (Kennedy if I am remembering correctly).

That highlight certainly would have been a cherry on top of his nice evening.

Great game from the team in the second half taking care of the ball. Nic also did a fantastic job of not forcing the ball. both players slowed things down, let us run sets, and execute offensively.

Hands down Frazier's best game this season. Played unselfish. Played under control. Played within the offense. Played confident. Great assists. Got his shot. Sweet stroke from 3. Not afraid to go in for the alley oop (again, all within the offense). Still would like to see Keith attack the basket more off the dribble. Keith just seemed more aware of where he should be both on the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. Imagine if we get this production or even more production from Keith next year, could be pretty special.

Happy for Keith and happy for our Mustangs! Great win against a good team! Pony Up!

He had a great game but still struggled on defense. He was constantly getting completely owned on LSU''s screens, fortunately LSU couldn't take advantage (they kept passing on the 3 or missing it). Not knocking keith buy he needs to be more aware on D, his biggest problem is he ball watches and doesn't understand the opponent is running plays on him.

You can tell his back is still bothering him. He is walking very gingerly.
