Re: Yanick tweetsI don't do Twitter, but I'll do it here. Thanks YM, you the man. We get nowhere this year without you and your play. You improved 100% over last year. Glad you are a mustang! Best of luck to you in whatever your future holds!
Re: Yanick tweetsReally feeling for him right now. Many things can be pointed to with this loss. It is a team loss, not an individual loss.
Re: Yanick tweetsI agree. Think about the player he was last year, and the player he became this year. There are a lot of players who helped the Mustangs get to the NCAA tournament this year, and Moreira definitely was among the most important. It was no mistake that he was named the AAC Most Improved Player of the Year, and as disappointed as he is right now, just imagine this season without him.
PonyFans.com ... is really the premier place for Mustang talk on the Web.

Re: Yanick tweetsI'm not on twitter but THANK YOU, and the rest of our team, for another fun, exciting basketball season. There is no I in team. Proud of my Mustangs
Re: Yanick tweetsPeople who rail on college kids about their failures seem like the biggest kind of loser to me. If you played yourself maybe you have some standing, but otherwise it's just kind of pathetic.
They wanted it more than any of us. They played hard all season and also juggled school, practice and travel. Great season, heart breaking loss. Let's move up another notch next year.
Re: Yanick tweetsLike I posted in another thread, I road down in the elevator with Yanick at around 7:45. I told him how proud I was of the team and what a great season they had. I also told him that he got a terrible call and to shake it off.
He was devastated about the loss. I can assure you that his and the teams disappointment is 100x greater than the fan base. Yanick and his teammates are to be commended for the season they had and the new height they have taken SMU basketball. Pony 81
Re: Yanick tweets
Myself and a few others spoke with him after the game at the hotel. One of the saddest things I've ever seen. He was so sorry. We truly Would not have gotten to the tourney without him. Great kid.
Re: Yanick tweetsThe whole team is part of the SMU family, I'm so proud of them and I hope the fan base makes them understand that while the loss is disappointing they have already accomplished so much for us that they don't have to feel sorry of anything this year. All the team needs to do is get back in the grind and get ready to win another AAC title, aac tournament, and keep pushing to bring a national championship to smu, pony up. Family over everything.

Re: Yanick tweetsyanick, thank you for coming to SMU. I wish you had more eligibility. you are a fine player, a warrior and a great representative of SMU. thanks for your efforts today and over the past two years. And it was a bogus call so shake it off.
Re: Yanick tweetsYanick is a CLASS ACT! As Bob Hope used to end his broadcast, "Thanks for the Memories" Yanick!
Re: Yanick tweetsYanick was so key to us winning many games this year and he will be sorely missed next season. I am sorry that the game ended the way it did for he and CC as I know they both wish they had those plays to do over, but that's sports. Bring on the '15-'16 season.

Re: Yanick tweetsThey must have discussed YM on Mike and Mike this morning, but I did not hear it. However when they talked about Jim Bohiem from Syracuse and how classless his speech was yesterday they compared it to the "classy way" that YM handled his post game talk.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: Yanick tweetsNothing but class from that kid post game. No way he can be blamed for making a split second effort play. Thank you YM, and good luck with the next chapter!
