Actually, now that I look at the standings it doesn't really matter, right?
We have to beat Memphis to be the 3 seed and avoid the 4-5 matchup either way and a Memphis loss locks them in the 4-5 game.
(Not that Houston in the 3-6 game will be a piece of cake)
I don't think that is correct, we don't have to beat Memphis to get #3 seed.
If we lose, they tie us at 12-6, and if UConn loses to Louisville at Lou, then they are 12-6 too. SMU will win all tie breakers.
If we lose the early game at Memphis, then that Uconn at Louisville game at 2pm game will determine every seed, 1 through 5.
The schedule makers nailed it on the Inaugural season in the AAC!
