I like his frame and athleticism, but his shot is a little flat and ugly. This team is in bad need of quality PG.

He's not a shooter, it should be all dribble/drive/dish w/that kid. Let him rub off the high pick, pick n roll or pop. Princeton couldn't be a worse fit for him. The whole state of Texas(ie grassroots) is dying laughing at him sitting behind Frog. It's going to be used against us, guaranteed.

Speaking of Frog, he needs to take care of the ball when he is in the game. We lost because of his turnovers.

I don't want to read too much into it, but SO got up and walked out of the game right as things started to turn south. I just wonder if he would pull the trigger before the season is over...

I wouldn't read anything into it. He wasn't going to make it past the Hawaii tourney two years ago, and here we are. Orsini isn't firing anyone mid-season.

agreed. Guys were cutting and not paying attention to the ball. Poor communication and poor execution.
"This is . . . dedication to distraction by fans. Is that what I'm going to go with Jay?"

The Doh experiment must end. Dude is a good front man and has helped the program with fundraising, but his coaching abilities are simply not good enough. We lost to a 1-9 SWAC team? And we are going to the Big East in 2years??

Time for a fresh start. This is what happened at UNC. Doh recruited Felton, May, and others, but could not coach them. He was fired and Roy won a title with Doh's players.

Someone can do that here at SMU. The talent is there.

SO left the game well before it looked like SMU was actually going to lose. Wouldn't read anything into it.

It was obvious we had a lot of talent on the court. You could see flashes of some great stuff. On the other hand, I saw a lot of passes get bumbled, balls getting stripped, poor communication, terrible substitutions, inexcusable foul shooting, and so on and so on. Coaching (lack of) cost us this game. It's especially difficult losing a game when you should be trouncing the competition.

AND, we were supposed to be at Ellis Davis getting Dallas interested. Instead, we went and embarrassed ourselves.
