VT isn't seriously considering firing Greenberg, are they? Hey VT administrators - YOUR SCHOOL IS IN BLACKSBURG. You will never get the same sort of recruits that UNC, Duke, MD can, so the sort of success Greenberg has brought you is something to be commended.

Alfalfa has been a huge disappointment. I expect him to be available but question that hire. We need another splash hire, me thinks

Yea, I don't know what to make of Horn's tenure at USC. For a minute, it seemed to be going well, decent recruiting etc. After that, it just fell apart in a huge way. I spend a decent amount of time around that program, and it's in shambles. I expect USC will turn to Gregg Marshall to salvage the program, and I expect him to not only take it, but thrive.

Agreed. He's a real whiner & a piece of work, but he's damn capable. In truth, if he was let go, he skyrockets to my # 1 candidate, a no brainer

Would Dave Rose entertain the possibility of coming to SMU? Big East>WCC.

No, he removed his name from consideration at UH despite having played during the Phi Slamma Jamma years. Rose is a member of LDS and loves being at BYU.

I wonder if and when DOH gets the axe what coaches will be on the top candidates list in the DMNS (Kate) and the other news outlets. Sometimes these coach's firing reaction lists contain names no one has ever mentioned as being a possible candidate.

Maybe I didn't read enough here but why not Bryce Drew? He is doing well at Valparaiso in his first year as HC (21-10) and has good energy at 37 years old and is a name hire...we aren't getting Scott to come here, but lets take the next best Drew....

Paul Westhead would be my ideal hire. Running "the system" in the Big East would be awesome.

He'd be one of my top 3 or 4 guys, I think. So much upside.
