Great game from Kennedy. He was really impressive tonight. Gritty win. We lost a lot of these last year.

Very nice road win. Remember, this is a team that struggled on the road against Ark and against UIC. Important to have a nice road win before conference season.

The AAC still has some branding work to do. Heard the announcers refer to it as The All American Conference and the American Athletic Association.

One other random note - the TV announcers couldn't say the correct name of our conference to save their lives. Like three or four different variations, lol. Was entertaining to me, at least.

Can you imagine going to a university that is 2 1/2 hours away from the nearest airport. Somewhat like WSU which is 95 miles from Spokane. Must impact recruiting. Kid come to WY, but be prepared for a huge bus ride to the cold, snowy, dust blown northern plains.

Good point?

I'm Ron Burgundy?

Why not bench S Williams and his 0-4, 2 turnovers in 7 minute start? Why not have Moreira come off the bench? He looks lost all of the sudden.

Seemed like they put Williams in at the end after Nance scored a few against Kennedy, my guess is they like Williams' defense.

We do not ever need to schedule Wyoming at their place in December again.

Glad they played well down the stretch. Good win and I agree, lets never do that again.

To those of you who who did not go to Scotty's, you missed it. Two former SMU players were there. I have not had that much fun in long time! Go ponies!

Right, but if we play them again I hope it is in November where it might be warmer. Cold and high altitude do not mix as you probably already know. :D

In fact, I say let's just end this series all together and wish them well.

I think Williams starts b/c LB wants to avoid having Moreira and Kennedy in foul trouble at the same time. If that happened, we would be stuck with Williams and Cunningham at the same time. Using the current rotation, Moreira and/or Kennedy always seem to be in the game.

Btw - Frazier never starts but he is starting to play a lot of minutes at the end of close games. This game, I would bet that he played at least 8 of the last 10 minutes.

I wish I could have made it down there. I stayed up in Plano and watched it with my daughter at the Franchise Sports Bar in Central Plano. They had a band playing, but had it on a nice big TV and the casual basketball watchers did gravitate to the SMU game and I got them all to come around and root for the Mustangs.

Nice to see us finish so strong. I see great things on the horizon, Dallas is ready for a national program in college basketball, if we can deliver, the fans will come out of the woodwork.

Great Win!
