This is the year? We have won in Hartford/Storrs three of the last five years. And we are 8-3 against UConn since the start of the AAC.
Exactly!

Well looking at it like that SMU seems to own UConn. Good point.

But we have lost 3 of the last 4 games played in Connecticut so despite that 8-3 record, wins are not easy to come by up there.

We dominated Connecticut more consistently under Larry.

We have dominated UConn men in both major sports since our second game back after the DP.

No matter the past this is going to be a hard game for the team to win and a good indication of where they are right now. We all thought Cincy was pretty darn good when they took their little road trip to ECU.... right?
In other news: huge game tonight.... Cougs At Temple.

I am not predicting a win. But it was just within the last few years that UConn beat us in either FB or BB for the first time.

UConn beat us in bball for the 1st time during the 2014-15 season. Before that, we had won the 1st 4 meetings. Have they ever beaten us in football? Had to look it up. We are 5-0 all time vs UConn in fball.

Yes, LA. This year. The Huskies are so trending up while we are so trending down that this looks to be our last year to have a decent chance for the foreseeable future. UConn class of 2019 includes #31, #80 & # 154 Nationally ranked players. Our class has #358 & #424. Heck, there lowest ranked player Gaffney is higher ranked than anyone on our team. And for those who think National rankings don’t matter, 2 of our highest and only legitimately ranked players, Charg & Hunt, are THE cornerstones of our future.

Temple back up 6 with a little more than 8 minutes to go. UH had taken a lead a moment ago

I am sure our illustrious athletic department is hoping to still be able to promote next week's game against "undefeated Houston"!!!

Temple wins 73-69 Great drive to the basket by UH guard for the apparent open 3 foot shot and a tie but even better defense as the Temple big man sets up just outside the arc and gets the charge-wiping off the basket with less than a second left. Temple adds 2 free Throws. Wish our guys would learn to take the charge more-its a huge team weakness

Win tomorrow puts us alone atop the AAC.
Of course eventually we’ll have to play a team with a pulse.
