I think he got on the schedule by calling "next game" at Dedman one day.
Are they the Mighty Quinns?

I don't think this team is good enough to go 13-2 OOC, even if the schedule is once again weak. I would love to be proven wrong though.
I think we'll be lucky to be 6-9 in conference this year. With only 10 scholarship players and no real power forward, we will be thin even if Doh hits the intramural circuit and finds some gems on the pick-up game circuit or raids Bennett's football team. With 2 games each against Memphis, UH, UTEP, Tulsa, and Rice that could easily be 8-10 losses right there. Add in one game against UAB and UCF and Marshall on the road, no gimme's there. USM, ECU at home are not going to be easy, but are our best chances at winning at home. If we go 4-12 in conference this year, I would not be surprised, nor would I be calling for Doh's head.

Are you counting the exhibition game with Houston Baptist? Thats the only way we get 15 OOC games. Conference USA released the conference matchups for all C-USA teams yesterday, but only 3 other schools announced their non-conference schedule at the same time. Here are the high and lowlights from those schools: UCF: Highlights- road games at Minnesotta and Colorado. Neutral court game with Utah (Puerto Rico tournament) possible 2nd round matchup with Virginia at the same tournament. Lowlights- Home games against Rollins college, Florida Tech, and the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Possible tournament game against UT-Pan Am. Tulsa: Highlights- road games at Oklahoma and Arkansas, home game with Oral Roberts (bitter rivalry game, similar to SMU/TCU). Lowlights- Home games against St. Gregory College, and UT-Pan Am. East Carolina: Highlights- Home game with NC State. Road games at Wake Forest and NC-Wilmington (25-8 and in the NCAA tournament last year). Lowlights- Home games with Limestone College, Chowan College, Morgan State. Try not to choke on the Kool-Aid.
Okay, 12-2 is what I meant, thanks.
I like the schedule as well. With the team we are returning and the need to build some momentum, I have no problem starting like this. Having said that, I fully expect us to lose a couple of the games that should be penciled in as wins. No problem though, better than going 2-10 to start with.
Besides, we added Houston and Memphis as our extra two conference games which should be the two best teams in CUSA..... no apologies needed for our OOC games IMO. Womack + Wishbone = Heisman
