Bagice - so you fault Tubbs for not playing Killen last season? Didn't we have a guy by the name of Hopkins on the team?

Hopkins was terrible. Overated. The most selfish player I have ever seen except for Sasser.

Hopkins was not a selfish player at all...you obviously know little about basketball and have lost credibility until further notice from me...

I loved Hopkins...a great player and good for SMU, I wish he would have had a better senior season....Of course you could not have put Killen on the floor ahead of Bhop....but you could have put him on the floor ahead of Dez....remember....Tubbs tried to move BHOP to shooting guard and let Dez run the point, and it didnt work.....

I was in Memphis for the tournament and late in that game against UAB, Killen got on the floor and I turned to my running buddy and said...."damn, he is the only guy on our team that can actually drive to the hoop and make a basket while getting fouled"...I would have loved to seen him more during the year.....

I will never knock Tubbs...NEVER....but I think Doherty is a special coach that will recruit well and bring the best out of everyone that plays for him.....yeah...yeah....I am sure in a coupla years he will move on to a juicy coaching gig at a top school....but lets enjoy the ride while he is here and build upon it after he is gone.

Carl Wright easily qualifies as most selfish player in SMU History-loved to watch him play though. If that talent have ever been harvested...

I still remember the last shot he made against Georgetown. Wish there was a 3 point shot back then.
