Centenary beats Texas Tech

Evidently there was an off court incident between Bobby Knight and some Centenary court side rowdies during the game last night. Knight was being harassed and "got into it" with some fans harassing him about a hunting incident as he was walking off at halftime.

Seems like he says that after every loss.

because the coach himself said this is going to take 5 or 6 years not one season....essentially our struggles will probably continue throughout conference play this year

Where did he say it would take 5 or 6 seasons to turn it around?

as the only Centenary grad on Ponyfans Im pretty excited to see Centenary knock off TT, SMU and hang 110 on semiannual NCAA cinderella Northwestern State so far this year. Even if NSU's coach is a friend of mine.

But I'll reiterate the claim I made after the SMU game that there is absolutely no reason for SMU, or TTech, for that matter to lose to the 'Nary - preseason or not. Centenary is by far the smallest D-1 program in the country and their admissions standards are tough enough that makes recruiting D-1 athletes exceptionally difficult. BUt they made a good hire in selecting former Arkansas asst Rob Flaska as HC and he is finally starting to pay dividends.

Hopefully, coach Doh will have similar and quicker success.
