I was behind the team with the two blondeys. Black shirt.

I thought our play was really ragged up until we trailed 54-49 with about 8-9 minutes to play. Then when we went on that 11-0 run topped by Wills' 3-point play.

Still had 21 turnovers. Shepherd's floor game was horrible, Gilliam too, Wills was MIA until the final 8 minutes when she scored all 13 of her points. Samuels just didn't have it -- Bigtime41 what happened? Is she OK?

Dodds was solid with 25.

FT was great 30-33 including 11-12 in the final 2 minutes. That's how you finish wins.

But they have no margin for error. They are probably going to have to win the CUSA tournament in order to go to the tournament or else they hope for WNIT. CUSA is a one-bid league.

I can't call it. It just seemed like it was one of those days. I think she has to make up in her mind what kind of player she is going to be and stop thinking so much. THis is a very crucial stretch in the season that either we are a contender or a pretender and she is a major player in this teams success if they are to make it over the hump. She came here exactly for the reason she is faced with now and that is to be a part of something special. At some point and time you have to let a player be a player and she has a golden opportunity to show up or blow up. I will put my money on her showing up but we will see. Go Mustangs!!

I too chalk it off as a bad day - it happens. I thought Hill gave us some nice minutes. That's the make of a team with good depth though - when one of your top players has an off day and there is someone else that can step in make plays to help your team win. Nice performance from Dodds too - she's back to her old self. Haley was a nice spark in the first half too. This is an important stretch - 5 games on the road and 3 at home. Good luck to the team!

You are so right and I concur that this was probably the best performance for Hill and Day this season. Both gave up some good minutes and that was the most I saw Hill play under control all season. D.Wills seems to be back and hopefully we can begin to do like the Giants and get on a roll. It might just work out that we get hot at the right time and take all the way thru the tourney. We need to beat the Houston teams and win out from here.
