Indiana voted as a state last year to become 100% Eastern Time zone, finally recognizing daylight savings time. Before that, half the year the city of Indy was like us, the other half they were an hour ahead, and the area around Gary was Central Time Zone like Chicago.

NW Indi is close to CHicago so that would seem the attraction.
