I can't believe the NCAA doesn't have a secondary office in Waco by now.

I don't think Drew is a big cheater, he's just working loopholes. Also, Dwon Clifton is a pretty reputable guy, and can do the job he was hired for. Yes, its a ploy for Wall, but its pretty commonplace in recruiting these days

Remember, in today's NCAA world, you rent a player for a year, maybe two, then he goes to the NBA. And if the kid is all world and you have a good supporting cast, then you have a shot at winning the dance and getting to every recruit in the country. Calipiri put Memphis on the map. Drew is trying to do the same with Baylor. In the Big XII, they have it tough with UT and Kansas, not to mention MO, OSU and OU. Baylor despite its recruiting success still has not risen to the top of the Big XII. They need a difference maker to get to the next level. Its tough to get out of the middle of the pack in the Big XII.

I do.
Seems like a nice guy, but after hearing him talk, I have the overwhelming urge to get de-loused.
Plagiarize!
Let no one else's work evade your eyes.
Remember why the good lord made your eyes.
So don't shade your eyes, just
Plagiarize, plagiarize, plagiarize!
(Only be sure always to call it, please .... "research.")

He's about as God-fearing a Christian coach as exists. I don't know what you're hearing, but if anything, he's sappy, not street. He has tremendous shoe company backing and they identify international prospects better then anyone in the country.
Suffice it say, he's out of Baylor in the next few years. He's about as big a commodity as exists.
No offense to our head guy, who I think will turn the corner, but he's far more slippery & polished then Drew. Doh learned his craft from eels. Sticking Jason Terry in Aaron Dotsons ear is very borderline, albeit commendable. Since he isn't an SMU booster, its not a compliance issue, but its slippery

So even on an official visit, there are people the recruit can't talk to?
When will I start feeling stimulated??

Pony Doh-there are a bunch of guys on this board-most of which have never followed recruiting that can't deal with a school like Baylor having success. There used to be a day when you didn't accuse a player, coach or team of cheating w/o the slightest evidence. I follow recruiting and I know of no credible evidence that Baylor is cheating.

I like that Doherty has a slippery, used car salesman side. We need that. I love that he got JET to talk with Dotson and/or Russell. We have to get a Dotson or Russell quality player in this class to complement McCoy, Williams and Dia.

Honestly, I can't think of a harder place to cheat, after the Bliss debacle. The spotlight is immense

Isn't Baylor a Baptist version of a nunnery?

Hmmm....what is going on down there? I still don't get it - Waco.....from the huge scandal to this...
There had been speculation that Wall would commit to Baylor after it hired Dwon Clifton, his club team coach, as its new director of player development.
"Dwon and I never had that type of agreement," Wall said. "I was interested in Baylor before he went there.
It's just a matter of time before the scandal dealing with this situation is made public. Ask the "right" people - you'll get some insight to the meteoric rise of BU basketball.

Why don't you enlighten us? Who are the right people to ask? I was told by an ex asst. under Tubbs that Baylor was paying to play.

I am not in the know at all but to me it all just doesn't add up. There are so many better places to play all over the country than the bottom of the Big 12. Granted, yes they are better b/c of the last few classes.

Dave Bliss was a God-fearing, Christian coach, too. So what?
