Nice blurb from a Maxpreps article

Fabyon Harris (Hyde Park/Chicago, Ill.) – Continues to wreak havoc after summer of leading Illinois Warriors to multiple tournament championships playing in backcourt alongside Oregon State signee Ahmad Starks of Chicago Whitney Young.

From SLam Online

Fabyon Harris (Cavs), 5-9 senior point guard, Hyde Park (IL): Harris, a talented floor general and recent Northern Colorado commit who stands out every time I see him play, was his typical high-energy and playmaking self, distributing the rock, putting on a show with his masterful ballhandling, scoring over the trees in the lane, making plays on D and hitting deep jumpers.
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.”- Jalen Jones

Is that an error or did he switch his commit from Northern Colorado to SMU?

He gave a verbal to Northern a long time ago, then opened it up before his senior year.

Fabyon Harris, Hyde Park, Senior, Guard

Hyde Park's Fabyon Harris averaged 26 points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals for the season.
Despite losing nine seasons, Hyde Park has stayed afloat this season because of Harris. He's stepped up as one of the city's top players this season and helped his team to the Public League Tournament semifinals. He averaged 26 points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals for the season. He's received a number of mid-major looks.
"This year he's been more of a leader for us," Hyde Park coach Donnie Kirksey said. "That's really impressed me. He reminds me of Jerome Randle or Earl Boykins. He just has that attitude that he's not going to be beat."

He looks so good and will be a tough warrior for us. He has great skills....look forward to him coming here and watching him dish it out.
