the pony sucked, but you're talking like an old guy. Additional street cred is always welcome in hoops. Right now we look like private school girls team. Maybe ditch the block SMU and go w/a script Mustangs or something
Who's the old guy? We had script in the seventies.

Oh, oh, I know, I know! We need to mimic the cheerleaders and their abbreviated "STANGS" jerseys!!!!
Don't worry. Be Happy. Or not.

A) UA gear under jerseys is thought to be good, but its cleats are awful. B) Forget basketball and football — equipment sponsorship deal is (and always will be) governed by money and nothing else. If two companies offer comparable deals, the school might make a "choice," but if not, the dollars and amount/quality of gear will determine all future contracts.

It's funny, I've often wondered if the school colors are the problem. Using both red & blue is sorta difficult. My wife & I have been looking for quality SMU apparel forever, both on campus and via the web, and we both consistently remark how awful most of it looks. Maybe we should stop integrating both in the same uni. The white uni's w/red & blue are just awful

With Doh here it's more likely they will be Carolina Blue than black.

While letting my ignorance show, are our away unis red or blue or do we have both?
(An answer of "yes" is not acceptable)

I agree that most available apparel for SMU is really bad and shows little creativity. I really think we should adopt the real Harvard crimson and Yale blue which are vastly different than the bright red and blue used today. Problem is that virtually all college teams that use some aspects of red and blue essentially use the same bright versions and uniforms tend to look " all the same" as well as fan apparel. We need some creativity. Maybe we could even bring back leather helmets.

If that is the case then look for green and pink jerseys "cause they sell them in the bookstore"
The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

Ummm, our blue away jerseys last night were putrid. That royal blue or whatever it is, is painfully soft. Couple that w/awful red trim/lettering and we're just confused.
So, in honor of the great JJ, I purchased a bunch of SMU gear today, all in black. I'm taking this thing Johnny Cash, people.
