I love this team.

Also, I've been saying exhibition season all along, and though I believe that in many ways, I've reconsidered for one reason. Simply, It's not fair to the seniors and the effort they've put in. Papa Dia is an all-time SMU great and Harp/Walker have put in serious time and had their moments. Mangrum is a one year addition that has been phenomenal, and I think we all wish he had more time. Him included

If/when this program really does achieve at an elite level, it'll be on the sweat of those kids and this season. They deserve a post-season game
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.”- Jalen Jones

With at least a .500 record in CUSA assured -- the most in in CUSA history -- and 17 wins -- the most since 2002-03 -- the question needs to be asked.

SMU basketball isn't an exhibition. An exhibition involves a pole and dancing.

Perhaps the women's team is having an exhibition season as they have really struggled, but the men are finally playing some meaningful games.

it's fun to watch, even when it gets ugly, and no one scores for bizarre stretches. How about the "new SMU' shirts the kids were wearing on the sideline/pre-game etc.

I might be thinking of a different shirt. The one jfrog is wearing in the postgame interview on smumustangs.com has a large U

Agreed. If anything SMU is small and the "U" is large.

I would like one of those shirts. I hope they make a good appearance at the CUSA championships. They have the opportunity go the distance.

Ok, those are the shirts. I didn't see them correctly via gamecast lol. I've asked a few people if they're for retail, and the verdict seems to be its a team thing. Hope they pop up
